This morning we had a lovely breakfast at our B & B. Pauline, our hostess, provided us with muesli, Dutch bread and buns, apple strudel filling, strawberries and more. We left about ten for Bruges.

Mike went first and with one hand I held to the rope that wrapped around one side of the tower (supposed to help you climb but too tight and large to get a good hold on it) and the other hand I held the back of Mike's belt (he was concerned about his pants being pulled down if I slipped! ... now joined the back of this queue and it was only about 20 minutes before we were at the front of the queue and our carriage drew up and we clip clopped off......our driver was a chunky hirsute young lady with a moustache any fellow would have been proud of in Movember.

... show but meet us when we went to a brewery/pub called meantime. I had a quick wander round at the museums but will need to go back -We headed to Battersea park fireworks (bonfire night is a big deal over here, they don't call it Guy Fawkes like us).
