Day 10 - Friday 16 November It was an early start this morning. We rose at 6.20 am, too early for the hotel breakfast, and made our way to Kings Cross - St Pancras station via the tube from Bayswater, changing lines at Edgware Road. That said, the cold did not effect my ability to enjoy the wonders ...

I won't bother talking about our second stint in Brussels other than to say it was bloody hot! 38 degrees that day but it could’ve been worse, I could’ve been at Rock Werchter out in the sun like Rod. We stayed at a nice place, Hotel Francois, run by a lovely Belgian lady and her cat. It was right in the heart of the 'cocktail district’ and during the day the street was packed to watch Brazil v Holland on the big screen. It was a good ...
