Last Two Days
... pretty well soaked, and finally gave up. It was late afternoon before we found a place to eat a light lunch of pasta, bread with oil, and house wine. The tomato sauce in the pasta was excellent; the house wine not so good. In the evening we went to Rosetta's and Giovanni's to say goodbye -- which cannot be done without having wine. Thanksgiving Dinner
... for little bread. Of course, the Prosecco and vino rosa were flowing freely, followed by a lovely Vinsanto and Grappa. (I behaved myself, but did sleep soundly.)
