This morning Graham and Christine (old family friends of the Eads) joined us for breakfast. It was a full house with Nicky, Ben and Abigail also staying. Poor Ben was all upset when he had to go off to school. Must have felt like he was missing out on all the fun. ... rooms and lockers, and the ground floor was the thermal pool and spa. After we showered and changed, we all went to a pub for lunch. Food in this country seems really cheap - £6.95 for a sandwich, drink and chips! After lunch we hit poundland (equivalent of the reject shop really, but everything costs a pound). ... shopping. We stopped for a hot chocolate at Starbucks, then picked up Nicky's birthday present (a nice watch). Steve took Jonah down to his old Rugby club to catch up with some old friends, before joining us back home for lunch. ... Charlotte of Whales (mum Caroline of Brunswick) had a staring “problem”. She wanted to get something done –her eyes would pop real wide and people would cower to her. Similar to Noel of New York.
