... a wonderful lasting legacy, and a budget and timeline which went fantastically out of control. It took 30 years to build and cost over double what it was supposed to. These days it costs 50 pence to drive over, which I was pleased to pay. There is also a nice visitor’s centre which gives you a history of the bridge and how it came about.
