A wonderful location with trees turning to beautiful colours (colors) and some nice restaurants with less challenging American accents. We attended the Orvis Fly Fishing 2 day school at Orvis Headquarters. ... bring some samples home with us. While downtown Saint Johns is nothing to write home about, the surrounding areas are really beautiful. Rolling hills and beautiful lush/green scenery. We were happy when Josh & Jamie came to spend a day/night with us. We really enjoyed their visit.

Well off we set at 8:30 am to venture along the hwy to get closer to Cooperstown. The toll roads are enough to break you. One we hit in Maine was $7.50, another $4.00 and another at $ 3.50, yikes.
We decided to take the #2 thru the top of Massachusetts which became a much more sensible drive to do. Very scenic along the way, but did not stop to take any pictures as Greg seems to be in groove. I must ...
