    ... Forest Park and there were other museums, sporting fields, gardens, hot houses etc, etc. We drove through it and then headed off through Illinois, then Indiana and into Kentucky.     ... is like a beef stew. It was so good. I had a BBQ beef brisket sandwich which was also delish. The meat and sauce was perfect. Elizabeth had a yummy Caesar salad and the boys had the Louisville Hotbrown. It was sliced turkey on toasted bread, topped with bacon, tomatoes and parm. Yummy cheesy delish. It is a limited menu but gooood.

    We woke up at 9 something and made breakfast for all of us. Our favorite dish...bananapancakes.

    Daddy was at work...but he was so damaged from the night before that he was back for a quick nap ;-)

    So we had breakfast all together at 11.30 ;-)

    ... gained a national reputation, thanks to crisp limestone water.
    Jim Beam is the world'd number one bourbon so what better way to experience Kentucky than a distillery tour.
    The Jim Beam grounds are beautiful and still has the original Beam family home. They have these fantastic black wooden rocking chairs on the porch and around the property. A cafe that even serves Jim Beam ice cream.
