... Munster. The ruins we see were a fortress that was given to the Church in 1111; the Cathedral was constructed during the 13th century, with several improvements made during the 15th century. ... to the ruins of the priory and the old mill on the Kings River, and we had a nice, if drizzly walk around and back up to the car through the town of Kells. We drove by a couple of other ruins, and then headed over to Thomastown for dinner at Sol Bistro.
