Paris - Day 1
Sunday - arrived on the Eurostar in Paris late afternoon. Booked into accommodation, then walked down to Seine River and walked across some of the many bridges. Strolled through Latin quarter (similar to Lygon Street only on a much larger scale) and we had delicious gelato.

Pick Pocket
... uneventful. I cannot say I am impressed with the system itself. The cars are old and very dirty, and lack air conditioning. Every staircase reeks of urine. There is graffiti everywhere, including the inside of the cars. Add to that the pick pocket problem and it is not a very pleasant experience. The only alternative is very expensive cabs, so we will endure it when we must. Money is an object in this incredibly expensive city.
