To get to the U.S. at Sault Ste. Marie you have to take the International bridge over the St. Marie river which is where Lake Superior dumps into Lake Huron. The Canadian Shield has been replaced by a bit of farmland, but the trees are still plentiful, I even saw a maple syrup farm. It's all about the bridges today! ... same to a manager if he or she wanted to listen . . . she took 15% off my bill for my trouble!!

Carol got a piece of strawberry cheesecake to go for dessert. I later went over to a Biggby Coffee for my dessert . . . and in the process spotted a Tim Horton's!! Guess Carol will get breakfast in the morning . . . even if she sleeps in past the Hampton Inn complementary breakfast!!

We both relaxed and read into late evening . . . and turned in. Good night!!
