    ... at Zion Adventure Company to pick up some specialized hiking boots and socks for a planned hike into The Narrows on Sunday morning.

    So, we're looking forward to the trip! Nothing left to do but get ourselves to the airport tomorrow morning. I hope everyone enjoys the blog over the next couple of weeks. We'll be sharing a lot of photos, videos, and stories throughout.

    Rte 6 is the 2nd longest continuous highway in USA; from Bishop, CA to Cape Cod. This PA scenic portion is 1 rolling hill after another with farm lands interspersed between forests, rivers, small towns of yesterday-year......and vista views of the fall foliage on every ridge.     ... there The temperature has dropped and it was 3 degrees this morning but rising to 24 later on. Found a wonderful Boutique Brewery cum restaurant back in Corning for dinner and ended up sitting beside the owners, who were the parents of the wonderful drinks waiter who had been serving us. We became life long friends over those couple of hours! ...

    We finally arrive at our hotel about 7pm shower and finish with a meal and a couple of beers. About 225 miles covered today and some lovely towns and villages on the way. Tomorrow is the big one Niagara falls and 380 miles to cover, so an early night I guess.
    Having problems downloading pictures to my tablet which is anoying.
