Sunday morning we drove out of Washington D C, gladly leaving behind the constant scream of sirens - police, ambulance and fire, every five minutes! We drove out past the Pentagon south to Springfield to Sue Tampio and Craig Iorns house for a lovely lunch and catch up out on their deck. We left them and got as far as Hagerstown. Went out for ...

... diner blimey what big portions!
We finally arrive at our hotel about 7pm shower and finish with a meal and a couple of beers. About 225 miles covered today and some lovely towns and villages on the way. Tomorrow is the big one Niagara falls and 380 miles to cover, so an early night I guess.
Having problems downloading pictures to my tablet which is anoying.

Our first stop is the Pocono Mountains and the scenery is beautiful. We opt for scenic byways which are always curvy and fun rather than the interstate highways as they can be and straight ...

... It was wonderful! The lady who runs the campground came by and tested the water while I was there. She said it was 83 degrees which is pretty warm but it still felt great!

After the pool, I vacuumed which warmed me up again! Bob is barbecuing right now and I think I will crack a shandy, my new favourite drink (lemonade and beer) and chillax.
