    After a sleep in we managed to catch the 12.30 pm ferry. It was a hot, sunny day so the 10 mile journey across Lake Champlain was an extremely pleasant way to spend an hour.

    Big Agnes Copper Spur UL3 When I first recieved this tent, I was really thrilled! Roomy as all hell, vents up top, lots of storage, and light weight. I was thinking this would be my new do everything tent. But after only a few weeks, well owning this tent became.....a nightmare.     ... of grilled chicken, noodles, and some awesome brownies - plus we had a warm/dry place to sleep! One of the hikers happen to be doing the Hut to Hut challenge (50 miles in one day), he finished at 10pm....only took him just under 18 hours! Really cool!     ... to have a jump. Once we were on our way I keep thinking I don't have another spare and we still had 250 miles to go. Well we made it and the next day the camper got four new tires and the truck got 2 new batteries. I fixed the water line and we are good to go again!!

    ... got out of tent to pee.....got bit 3 times! The hike up was hard...but man, what a view! Well worth the effort. We are headed into Glencliff tomorrow....I am ready for this shower, clean clothes, and a bed! My foot/knee/hip will be appreciative of the break also.
