Awake at 5:30 am and one of the first in Vista 18 for breakfast. 360 degree Panoramic views of Victoria stunning. Matthew ordered the Mount Baker Breakfast including pancakes which set him up for the day! With the sun already shining, it was perfect taking an early morning stroll into Victoria before the crowds and heat. The Empress and BC Legislature Building framed by colourful hanging baskets and flower beds ...

... market type affair with stalls down to Wharf Street where the Harbour Air Seaplanes are, jet boat rides. Checked out the inner Harbour lots of stalls, buskers, small orchestra groups playing the centre is packed with tourists and everyone is getting their positions for the Music Festival tonight (the whole inner harbour is packed). Ventured into the Fairmont Empress Hotel for a sticky beck, High Tea is booked out.

... rose garden. The weather was magic so Allan was enjoying photographing the surrounds.

The tour was completed by lunch time so we headed on a water taxi to Fisherman's Wharf. This area has a variety of eateries and quaint floating houses on the river to explore. After we had a fish and chip lunch we discovered a very playful (and obese) seal below the wharf. A crowd gathered, some with fresh salmon to feed the seal. ...
