... to caramel slice. It is named after a city on Vancouver Island called Nanaimo. I had been craving one for about 3 weeks because the city Nanaimo keeps popping up at work in our customer data base.

... drink, then at 1845 it was into the lovely big Buckingham room for our Last Super, as this was the end of our Land and Train travel part of our trip, Tea was a beauty, not allowed to tell you all what we had, needless to say it was sufficient. ... the other passing famous landmarks such as 'The Empress' Fairmont Hotel and the Parliamentary Buildings.

After admiring the bay and watching all the boats come in and out of the harbor we went off in search of a restaurant for dinner.

At 9pm we found a bench looking over the harbor to watch the sunset. Once the sun has gone down all 3,333 lights on the Parliamentary Buildings light up. A spectacular sight!

... somewhat of an European touch with all its bars and pubs, as well as its British tea cafes. The buildings are old and look magnificent, the Parliament Building and the Emperor Hotel are dominating the inner harbor area. There are constantly boats leaving to and coming from some sea trip, as Victoria is famous for its marine life and water activities.

We all had a good sleep in after a late night. Brando's room was smelling extra special.
