I finally have been able to add my photos to the various destinations so for those who are interested have a quick look - Mexico can be very beautiful.
We arrived on-time into Long Beach (Pier 92) on schedule and our departure time was set for 10:20 a.m. so we had some time for breakfast before heading to our departure point, The Explorer …
... It was really cool. I cannot believe how small the Apollo capsules were, certainly no room to stretch out on a couch. I really have a greater appreciation of what these astronauts do. Darren even got to touch the landing wheels of the Endeavour.
Leaving the science museum we drove past the coliseum which is where they held the Olympics. What a huge stadium.
Out final stop for the day was Disneyland, ...
... luxurious although very high! We have a small area to sit if we want to eat, a walk in closet and a mirror with lights around it- very Hollywood! the bathroom was clean and is a decent size so over all we are happy. There a few odd things, such as 24 hr tea and coffee, but you have to walk down to reception for it.... and only having a few tables for breakfast when there must be about 50 rooms here.

Working tonight with the teens was a blast. The bar at the back of the ship set up a station where the teens could all have a mocktail making competition. They had to split into teams and experiment with mixing and blending juices, grenadine, margarita mix, fruits, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and ice. Gertrude* and I had to try all the drinks ...
... was to be how it would be till we left the US?The rain kicked in and we have moved from fogs to rain. The forecast is rain all the way up the coast the next few days . This is not that bad really because we get to see the coast in a season not of the typical postcard style. It is rugged, cold and windy and strangely stunningly beautiful.
All along the coast route we stopped at lookout points or crafgy cliffs to admire the rugged cold blustery coast. Clearly ...
