Booking a Room Problem

After reading all the good reviews of this property I tried to enquire about booking a room with the beach manor B&B and received a very quick response confirming availability and pricing for the day in question. When I asked about making the booking and advised them that I was travelling with a small infant I was informed that they were a small family run B&B and did not provide cots. I replied I did not require a cot but would still like to make the booking. I did not receive a reply until I emailed them again and then finally received an unsigned email stating they could not help me. No further explanation was given as to why so I am left thinking the obvious.

An incredibly wonderful experience

We have travelled to many countries and typically stay at B&B's but this was our first trip to Western Australia. Given the time and distance involved with getting there from the U.S., we were very anxious to have a positive experience especially with our accomodations. We contacted the Beach Manor a couple of times in advance of our trip and they patiently and promptly anwered all of our questions and concerns.

Even with our extensive advance preparation, upon arrival we were amazed at how perfect the Beach Manor was for us. All the information that we had been given was not only accurate but even a bit understated. Our en suite room was top notch - spotlessly clean with a bed even more comfortable than the one at home! The only sound we could hear at night was that of the ocean waves followed by lots of bird songs in the morning. It was so restful, we barely felt any jet lag. The rest of the B&B was equally as charming and well appointed. Nothing was missing from a traveler's point of view. The whole operation was nothing but first class - at very reasonable room rates all things considered.

The bonus for us was how much we enjoyed our breakfast and evening conversations with our hosts and with the other guests. In just a few days, we feel like we made some life-long friends as we discussed multiple topics.

The Beach Manor indeed has the perfect location for Perth visitors. It has a very short walk to the beach and to the local walking/bike path. It also has great access to public transportation in terms of cabs, buses and even the rapid transit (after a short bus ride). We purposely avoid renting cars whenever possible and that was no handicap at all in this case.

We look forward to returning to Perth in the near future and when we do, the Beach Manor will be our only choice of accomodation. It has a location and an ambiance that is not to be missed!!! We'll proudly be a guest reference for future visitors.

Wonderful beach retreat

Totally luxurious rooms and surrounds to make a purely decadent and memorable holiday. Wonderful hospitality and we certainly hope to return - but hope it is not booked out by our recommendations to our friends! Thank you.

Loved the location

The Beach Manor was for my wife and myself the very first experience with a B&B not

knowing what to expect, we found it very enjoyable with as much privacy as you would

wish, you could come and go as you felt without feeling uncomfortable;Thumbs up to Erin

and family for the personal touch ( brekky x mum ) and the lovely decor thru out the home.

Great location across from the beach,Scarborough is a beautiful place to visit, almost the

best of beach's next to N.S.W. ( not biased ) but I have to admit Perth has a lot to offer!

What a great place and hope to return soon!

Must stay B&B

Had I known B&Bs were like this, it would be the only way I travel - and I travel a great deal. The accommodations are amazing, the location couldn't be better, and the hosts are some of the greatest people I have met. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Beach Manor B&B.

The best place to rest in Western Australia

Beach Manor was a complete surprise to me.

I did not make the reservations so I did not know where exactly I would be staying.

When I arrived I was most pleasantly surprised by the accomodations.

The breakfast was a joy each morning and the owners and vistors were beyond friendly.

I would recommend Beach Manor to anyone in need of escaping the realities of their day to day world for a much needed rest and relaxation experience like most others strive to accomplish but most often miss the mark. This place is special and I intend to revisit as soon as possible.

Our first experience at a B&B

After a week of sun and surf at Cable Beach near Broome, we had to spend a few days in Perth on the way home to Melbourne. We thought we would give a B&B a go ... instead of the usual hotel. What a great idea. We stayed at the Beach Manor in Scarborough, Perth.

Faboulus views, lovely theme rooms, great pool and spa, gigantic tv in the guest lounge, really all the facilities of a resort but much lower price. Mum cooked us breakfast each morning and we dined at the restaurants just around the corner in the evenings.

We found Scarborough a handy place to head off from on our day trips to Fremantle, Perth sights and northern beachs. And what a great beach.

Rare Pearl Discovered on Perth Beach

The photos on the websites looked pretty good but when I checked in I was knocked over by this brilliant place, which is located on the edge of Scarborough Beach, one of the finest stretches of white sand in Perth, Western Australia.

The atmosphere is extremely friendly without being overdone. Beach Manor has only a few rooms and one feels more like a special house guest in an English Manor than a guest in a commercial establishment. I don't know if the owners had this in mind when they named the place but the name "Beach Manor" is, to me, very appropriate.

Sitting in a comfortable lounge chair beside the pool, surrounded by palms and quality Asian artifacts, one gets the feel of the tropical Orient or Hawaii, a feeling that is complemented by the beach surroundings. It was a real treat to go down to the beach at sunset and watch the sun head for Africa.

During my four day stay I met several fellow guests who had "escaped" from a large five star hotel and were just as impressed by Beach Manor as I was.

I would recommend this rare pearl on Scarborough Beach to anyone who wants friendly, quality accomodation with a difference.

Fantastic accommodation

Beach Manor on Perth's Scarborough Beach is fantastic.

We discovered it's brand new with sweeping ocean views and the rooms are luxurious with four poster beds. You should see the French room and Ocean room!

We found it more like a small luxury hotel and we loved the beautiful pool and bar overlooking the beach.

The French champagne on arrival was also a nice touch. 10 out of 10 for Beach Manor - the best holiday ever.
