... I was able to find and post in my blog a picture of me and my front-end loader which I used (for a while) to dig emplacements for our Hawk Missiles and other highly explosive stuff.

I still have fond memories of live launch exercises in the desert missile range watching our Hawks (note: this is the name of a bird), deploy at Mach 2.4 and knock a drone out of the air 45,000 feet away (hey – is that still classified?). Eventually, my Hawks were sold to Iran ...

... had the weather been clear, we sat near the glass windows and watched the storm continue of the water inlets.

With belly's full, and although darkened by the storm and the approaching evening we drove into the tourist centre of Cocoa Beach for a look at the Ron Jon's Surf store. Yep, with surf gear for sale at Aussie retail prices...nothing was purchased and we made it into the carpark during a break in the weather only to stand in "tail-gaiting" watching ...

Well, we put the home on wheels in storage this morning. We are off for a week on the high seas. We are staying the night at Hotel Carol's...aka as Mom's House!!!!
