... new-fanged rifling, which made their shots very accurate from a mile away. Take a look at the photos. You can see how the shots were working around the cannon hole in the wall, which would have led to another breach. This pattern was not finished because the fort surrendered and the bombardment stopped.

All in all this was a fascinating look at a Civil War era fort that was so well preserved. Enjoy the photos.

... been devastated overnight by tornadoes. He couldn't go into work for a few days, and his power would be out for at least a few days, so he jumped in his car and drove out to join us. With a fourth friend, we headed out this morning for Cape Canaveral. Along with an estimated 750,000 others, including the President of the United States. Seems everyone wanted in on this launch.

So the end of the cruise... We were up bright and early and went down to Artist Pallet to have breakfast. No escargot, no eggs Benedict. It was at Breakfast that we found out that one of Rays friends had heard from his family that his Grandfather had a stroke. Really? It seemed like we were cursed. There are so many things I didn't have time for but will get around to.
