... meant we didn’t get to see the launch. It finally got off the ground the next morning and we just didn’t have the time to get back out. It was a shame we missed it but it wasn’t from lack of trying.

Wow, 12 months have already passed since we celebrated our first American Independence Day here in Fleming Island. This year, we skipped the estate parade and began our celebrations at another Aussie family home for a BBQ, while the kids swam in the pool before heading down the the estate reserve to let of the co-op of fireworks that had been purchased by some of the party goers.

... Have noticed that over here there are a lot more cop cars parked visibly on the sides of the road keeping an eye on things, not just cameras hidden in the bushes like back at home! Today we visited the first of our three destinations on this cruise, Royal Caribbeans private island, Coco Cay in the Bahamas. the island itself really isn't much to see and must have been a steal to buy or rent.
