... hair pin turns on the Amalfi Coast may have been the culprit. Or food poisoning. I will never know. If I were to come back to Italy, I would rent a car, spend a week in Tuscany with a couple of days in Florence and a week on the Amalfi Coast with a couple of days in Sant'Angelo d'Ischia. Or maybe head further south to the Syracuse area. What a beautiful, albeit crowded corner of the world. After my last four days in Rome, it was goodbye Italy, hello ...

... we had a spa day! We get to Ischia and grab a taxi to drive us to Poseidon. The cab driver drops us off and we decided to meet her at 6pm to drive us back. Poseidon was so pretty! They had several thermal pools, private beach, and a spa. Michelle and I both decided to treat ourselves to a mud body and face scrub. It was an experience, but my skin was super soft afterwards! After the mud treatment, we went into several of the thermal pools. They had pools from 15-40*C. Then ...

... Pompeii. When we decided we wanted to make our way to Caecillius' home, Mark lead me straight there like he'd visited a hundred times. We were able to find the exact house thanks to some modern plaques on the ruined walls. Looking through the gate, we had a rare opportunity to know actual stories that took place in that same house.

We continued on through the narrow streets stopping at different homes along the way, finally making it to ...
