Again at home in Milan after 5 months
returned home to Milan at 2.30 tonight after an 10 hour flight from Bangkok to Istanbul where we have had delays and waits.

Sightseeing in Milan
Today we made our half day tour if milan by the skin of our teeth (literally!) to visit La Scala (famous opera house). Was very unassuming outside but gorgeous inside, walked through the quadrikatero (golden quad) where Europe's ONLY 7 STAR hotel resides (lol, you look out the window and have a wonderful view of Maccas!!!), the duoma and then onwards to Leonardo Da Vinci's famous last supper. Bellagio y llegada a Milán

Lo peor de todo es que los destrozos que se acometieron en los años setenta al alma urbana de esta ciudad no se centran a esa plaza, sino que recorren como un cáncer toda la ciudad y apenas dejan indemnes algunos rincones, como la plaza del Duomo. ...
