Today we made our half day tour if milan by the skin of our teeth (literally!) to visit La Scala (famous opera house). Was very unassuming outside but gorgeous inside, walked through the quadrikatero (golden quad) where Europe's ONLY 7 STAR hotel resides (lol, you look out the window and have a wonderful view of Maccas!!!), the duoma and then onwards to Leonardo Da Vinci's famous last supper. The thing we were most looking forward to about Italy was obviously the food. The first meal, I can tell you, was a complete let down.
