Welcome back Sun and Summer on the South Island
... It was a beautiful day, so different to the fogginess that had been blocking the views we would have had from the North Island. Maybe thats why Brits can be so grumpy, we don't get enough sunshine! On the way down, we took the advice of the guy from earlier and went for a swim in the river. Campervan swap then back to Dovedale
... were completing the paperwork we overheard the answer to a question – no they didn’t provide any linen with their vans! Before we set off on our trip we sold our sheets and quilt cover. The lady in the office said we could take our pick from the pile of bedding over in a cabinet. We had no choice but to get some pillows, 2 thin duvets and extra blanket and a sheet (which was a hospital sheet!). The sheet had been washed, but we aren’t sure ...

... were doing shorter walks than us (to be picked up later) and after about an hour (of twisty-turns) we arrived at the beautiful bay of Onetahuti.
