Owe you guys a little quick update -

Phase 4 Day 1
... of Sampford Peverell was in two parts having been separated into upper and lower by the building of the canal. In the process some houses were demolished- nothing changes! The last part of the walk took me to Burlescombe again along the canal. Changeover Day 3
... took us off the M5 at J27, across the A361 close to Tiverton and then up the Exe Valley to Bampton before turning on to the B3277 for the last few miles to Waterrow. It is interesting that my walking tomorrow starts from Bickleigh Mill further down the River Exe. Phase 3 Day 4
... feel like you are on a cushion of air. From the Main St I passed the site of Devons first cathedral and headed towards the River Creedy passing the Leisure Centre and sports grounds- an excellent facility being well used. Coffee stop today was in Shobrooke 4 miles from the start and a long uphill was negotiated before the break.
