    ... the pics. Would have been a lovely drive in the sunshine. Oh well one must roll with the weather.... On the way we did discover a beautiful saltbox house and now Greg is on another tangent....

    Continued up the Evangeline trail to find a campground for the night and low and behold the fog lifted and what a beautiful day it turned out to be.

    Arrived into Annapolis Royal and found a campground at Parker Cove, ...

    ... Royal, we drove to Digby and arrived at our B&B. We unloaded our luggage, walked down to the lower deck at the B&B, then Joshua and Mom played a game of checkers. Afterwards we drove into town and had dinner at the Dockside Bar & Grill. After dinner, we went back to the B&B where we continued to play a few more games of checkers, the kids did some puzzles while we simply relaxed and enjoyed the spectacular view.

    ... plentiful on the lobster boats & as they have a limited season, they're in & back out again... Very slick operation! Towards the end of the afternoon we sat outside having a read in the sunshine & overlooking the bay & harbour...
    Dinner tonight was great at the Mag Pyes Cafe. It was a set menu (4 courses), but with little appetizers between courses it was 6 & at the end they gave us a taste of the date & meringue pie. The fillets of flounder ...

    ... past, and some loons and cormorants fishing, but very little else has happened. Strangely it has all been riveting!
    There was one wonderful moment earlier: JB stepped out onto the deck and a hummingbird suddenly appeared just in front of him. It was there just long enough for him to register what it was before it was gone. Possibly it was because he was wearing a shirt with red sleeves and they are attracted to that colour.
