I have no idea how to write about today. I could (and probably will) go through the logistics of it. What we did, who I did that with, the timeline, etc. My takeaway, however, was the emotion of it. I can't really think of a time in my life so far that paralleled my feelings of excitement and pride (in my team and myself) and joy and accomplishment. Everything about today was entirely overwhelming; I think that's the best way to put it. For now and for the sake of memory, I think ...

... arrive at the apartment about 4.30 and we have a few glasses of fizz before heading to La Jolla Hotel for Lobster night. ... while watching movies. Sunday morning finally on our way and unfortunately it was not the best weather so the drive was nice but not very clear. It's so strange a busy highway running through a desert. Some of the mountains are so high and big and it was surreal seeing the massive cacti on the sides of the road.. It really felt like you were in a cartoon or something. We wanted to stop to eat so got off at a town we had seen a few signs for. It was ...
