The lake is really nice, there is a light breeze, that is a little chilly, and though the towns aren't too populated, they are closer together. They are a lot less touristy than imagined, because of their names( peacock point;hickory beach) and their placement on shore. There are few grocery stores, and the towns have too many houses, with few places to stop. The few places we have rested have been very nice, though. ...

... happy, because then I get I've cream the following day! Today we biked 20 miles past our planed campsite to get to a completely full RV campsite with no people, really in charge. A really nice couple is letting us sleep on the side of their RV site, a little area with water, plugs, a picnic table, and bathrooms that are not used much. It is hard to express our thankfulness to the people who have helped us along the way. ...
Long but beautiful ride
The massive thunderstorm the night before had cleared the air and lowered the temperature which made for great riding conditions. I set off having seen the most wonderful sunrise, the pictures are in the last blog, and headed for the ferry that would take me into Canada. We didn't stay too late to avoid more crowds and the possible drunken sillinesss that could happen later in the day. Sounds like we didn't have to worry about that though, because a friend who stayed in Port Dover over night told me that by midnight, the town was quiet, and the next day, you wouldn't even know there had 90,000 bikers ...
