After a very good lunch at a Mediterranean restaurant called Lavash, we went back to Princeton to visit the railroad museum. This is small but also very interesting. It features a now-defunct line called The Virginian which ran from central West Virginia to Norfolk, taking coal to the coast where it was shipped to Europe and beyond. The Virginian eventually merged with Norfolk and Western, and all the Virginian symbols and memorabilia ...

... up after dinner. I'm on a streak--19 straight days finding a cache. I'm hoping to extend that to the last day of summer, so an easy and early West Virginia find is quite helpful.

And that was about it for today! We're up early tomorrow--we have to meet the ATV folks by 8:30 at the trail head, about 45 minutes from here. Will try to get some photos of us soaking wet on ATVs--should be rather entertaining!

Beautiful ride today. We entered the Appalachians today. Lots of hills but we finally had some scenery to entertain us rather than just corn fields. Off the bike was also a blast. ... routes and then we moved down the wall doing some more challenging lines. Later we found a sick cave and Lee onsighted a 12a! Lee is a beast climber! One of the strongest I know and has taught me everything I know! He also cleared the 30 foot wide cave after letting one rip! Damn Lee!

It was a successful day and after climbing we went to The Secret Sandwich Society for another "unique" meal. I had a turkey sandwich with apples on it, fantastic! and ...

... s sky-high bridges. We marveled at how the bridges could have been constructed. We traveled on excellent highways without the heavy traffic on so many interstates. Would love to come back and spend more time here.
