... This particular coal seam is about 18" wide and about 18" off the floor. ... super strong boulderers. And there I was the noob flailing around on 9s and 10s...

It was a good learning experience though and it was super fun to watch Fox attempt one of the hardest routes I had ever seen. He's a beast.

Once we got back I could only hang around the fire for a bit because I had to Drive another 4.5 hours to work... 9 Hours drive for a less then 24 hour trip... yeah never again.

... at Jamboree, things seemed to be moving along well. Then, the momentum stopped and cleanup processes around our camp were dragging, causing us delays. We didn't get off to the opening show as early as hoped for, and as such, we ended up in a massive line of scouts going to the amphitheater that can hold an entire city. Incredible sight having that many scouts together at once, but the show ended up being a disappointment. Sun was blazing ...
