The Arrival

A travel blog entry by lynnreed on Aug 06, 2014

Our journey began with Mom flying into Dulles Airport from Jacksonville, FL. I picked her up and we went to get lunch. Unfortunately, Mom had to wait about 45 minutes for me because I missed her phone call and then decided to take the rest of the day off from work and needed to finish a few things up.

We spent a large part of the afternoon working out the best car rental deal. We ...

The catch on the back door was kinda broken too, but if you turned it the right way and pushed gently instead of slamming it worked. The aircon worked, but the face button made the air come out at your feet and the feet button pushed it out at the ...

... Tomorrow we are up at 4:30am as we are leaving at 5:30 for a ride with a group of Harley Davidson riders to York Pennsylvania to meet with Bill and Karen Davidson, great grand children of Willie A Davidson (the founder of Harley Davidson) to unveil a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle to be ridden to Milwaukie and put in the Harley Davidson museum. It's an eight day trip and we are so excited.

We've cracked a bottle of Petite Sirah (same as Shiraz) and are sharing it ...
