Had the good fortune to be invited to participate in a pure bred Angus aution. Cows in this part of the world spend their life grazing hundreds of acres. These farms dominate the Northern Virginia, Shenandoah Valley landscape. I have grown up with family members farming and never really had an idea for the value of these animals, the value of the land they are grazing and the science of farming beef cattle-until today.

In summary life on the farm was good. Jimmy and Emily have done something wonderful with the space there. If anyone would like to donate to the pool fund please contact me for details...but other than having a pool (and that's only Emily being a perfectionist!), this place is perr-fect! Thanks Yanks ...
