Dieppe- A city by the sea
... br> Later after the races we strolled the streets of Dieppe and found our last great foodie adventure. The seafood was great and the sauce is what will make us come back! Plus great Belgium Beer!! ( I prefer good beer over wine but England is not famous for either-so drink in France while you can!)

Food, War Graves and Champagne....
... the positive side of things, it has been much warmer on the plains of France than it was in the mountains of Switzerland and Austria. On the down side, France’s motorways are all tolled and cost an arm and a leg. So far we have paid about €75 in tolls and we are only a third through our French kilometers! Having said that, the roads are excellent, even out into the villages and small towns, which are not tolled but are much slower going.

... and we head towards the museum unfortunately it is closed because it is Sunday (Pete should have mentioned this!) we decide to find somewhere for lunch as most of the places are closed we chose a small kebab shop and order a chicken panni with chips and it is really nice, we eat in the park watch some guys play tennis. Lest We Forget
... This was my first visit to a war cemetery and it was such a moving experience seeing the crosses of all these young men who had given their lives so that we would be free. It is truly a beautiful place in a very sad sort of way and where they lay is so, so peaceful. The surrounding area is beautiful with farmers fields, its so hard to believe that these were killing fields all those many years ago. The view is magnificent. Lest we forget.

... while a lot of them have been redone into restaurants. Most of this area centres around the canals which was their lifeline in those days. Then we got a bit lost, took a wrong turn and completed the walk the wrong way around. didn't matter as we still saw everything. Next move, back to the bus stop and catch the bus home.
