... certainly is driving Italian style. Another feast tonight as Alberto got the old BBQ going (I honestly thought that thing was junk yard bound) and made steak and pork chops. Louise and Deron did smoked salmon with capers, onion and lemon and dessert consisted of Louise's amazing Turtle Cheesecakes and some sweets we purchased in Pizzo. We were joined by the Militos for dessert so our numbers went up to....oh, seriously who knows!! A great evening once ...

... mom, Uncle Leo (who he says in all the years he's known him has never ever shown an angry side!!) and about Sorrento and Pompeii.
Tonight we slipped over for a quick visit with Zia Giaconda and then Rob dropped me at Anna Maria's so we could bake Ginetti. The jury is still out as I didn't have time to ice them before the cousins all decided we should go for pizza! It was lovely to get caught up with Anna Maria while we baked. ...

... 20 something strong and the food and company were equally outstanding. I asked if Rob had been well behaved without my supervision and my cousins answered that he was, except for the fact that he looked like a "snowflake" amongst the well tanned Italians (credit to Alberto this time for the impeccable descriptor). Alberto said his family was quite fair but Rob was pretty much in his own category!! After much food, some wine and lots of laughter, we packed up, dropped ...
