    ... on the right side of the road. The city still looked pretty scruffy in the overcast light of the early morning. There were cars everywhere on the big freeways. There are quite a few japanese cars similar to the cars back home. There are also quite a few big general motors type SUVs cruising around.     ... the price, we dumped the car and set out on foot to the Walk of Fame. We walked all the way down to the TCL Chinese Theatre trying to find recognisable names, including Godzilla! It was busier there as we looked at the hand and footprints whilst avoiding the very badly dressed film characters who would pose for photos, for a price of course.

    With temperatures soaring, we walked the full 1.5 miles to the end, and then back again. 3 miles clocked up...Hollywood, ...

    ... security. There are upper floors with all the ‘clubs’ and a restaurant. On the main floor you went through a succession of Duty-Free stores before a good variety of food places. We parked up and ate at a Mexican place that had table service, the food was yum (especially the corn chips which are freshly made, light and tasty).
