We were greeted by cold rainy weather and it was dark and gloomy. But we had a nice comfy hotel that we checked into and we made it home very quickly.
We gained a day so it is the same date as when we left Auckland.
We are still on NZ time so it will take a bit of adjusting. This morning we woke up late (due to timezone difference) and missed breakfast.

... got down there most of the area was fenced off for a Taylor Swift concert. We headed down the street and Taylor was actually performing at that moment. We could see her on the big screen and the sound was awesome. We watched her perform a few of her songs and then the concert finished - talk about great timing!

Then we headed out for some dinner, we went to an Italian and I really wanted to go all out but kept it real simple to satisfy my stomach. I hate not being able to eat what I actually want to eat. When I have these wretched things removed I'm going to have a week of binging and being obese and I don't want to care and no one will judge me. Over and out. Ero Tergum ...

... FlyAway Bus that would take us to LAX. After queuing to buy the ticket we made the 5pm bus with minutes to spare. The drive to the LAX took about forty minutes, not bad considering it was rush hour and the freeways had five lanes of jammed traffic in each direction (we were in a bus lane for most of it). Check in and the shoes off, etc security routine one last time, then into the Air NZ lounge for a shower and a meal while waiting to ...
