... lungs, dicky hip and ****** knee I'm happy say I made it all the way there and back without too much winging! Some of the photos we got are just great, but of course never really do justice to what you actually see. We got back to the Chateau about 3 hours and 10 mins after leaving, so we were more then ready for a cold beer and cider out on the terrace. The weather today was just spectacular - couldn't have ...

In all, about 8,000 miles of road are classified as Trans-Canada Highway. The highway may stitch Canada together, but the Canadian federal government is responsible only for sections of highway that pass through national parks; the provinces look ...

The sauce the meat and veggies were cooked in was slightly sweet, but exceptionally savory and complemented the meat. Awesome does not really describe this dish! We then returned to the campground just as the rain started.

Tomorrow, we move to Lake Louise just up the ...

... of the peaks, with the sun on them. We weren't feeling too hungry so shared French Onion Soup & bread, crab cake & then seared scallops with pork belly & pear each. It was a great place to eat and classic decor of snow shoes on the wall, an old kayak and stuffed beaver & birds.
A brilliant start to our holiday!
We walked 13 kms today. We wore our hiking boots, pants & shirts; zip-up vests; and took our weather jackets.
