... down. I started walking with a mum (incidentally, I just typed mom... erm, what?) and her son. It turned out he's in training for the Olympic speed skating. and I'm hiking a mountain with him. Facepalm. So while me and mum are red faced and puffing, he skips off ahead and takes one of the very steep short cuts between the trail switch backs. we catch up with him about five minutes later and take the next short cut with him. ... as loud as they could, amazed at what they had seen and disappointed that it was over. It wasn't quite finished.
