... lunch of pasta salad before travelling to Banff. We pitched our tents and then headed into Banff. Ihad a wonder round the shops in search for a t-shirt or top, but was unsucessful. We had about 2.5h in Banff so I then headed to Bow Falls. I'm not quire sure how it is classified as a waterfall, it only drops a few metres, maybe we have been spoilt previously. I think the photos give a good perspective on what we saw in Banff. Mountains, Lakes and Bears. The Banff National Park is paradise for the outdoors lover. We packed a lot into two days so three might be better. It would also be great to visit when covered with snow so I will pencil in a return trip!

The water was a beautiful blue colour & no ice, which had finally melted off a few days before. We did the walk of the right hand side, along the lake & back to the chalet (4km round trip). Then it was back to Banff ...

... down all at the same time.

We did our Kris Kringle. Matt and I had bought a calendar and magnet and wrapped them. They had to be gifts to the value of $5 and non-gender specific. Matt ended up with a little bottle of Baileys and I got a pack of cards, so of course we swapped.

After dinner we went to the lobby for the end of Christmas carols. They were passing out hot chocolate. Karen suggested I add my Baileys to that, which I did, and it was very ...
