Mo was sympathetic and told the customer she would replace the damaged area with a garage door so she could drive in whenever she wanted. ... we found an ideal picnic location. That perfect spot turned out to be Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park. After spotting a sunny picnic table next to the lake, we enjoyed our food in serene surroundings. Across the lake, we could see people on the giant sand dunes, but couldn't quite make they were doing.

We finally checked in at the Best Western in Bandon just shy of 8 PM. Michele stayed with the kids while I went for a short visit with Ari and Charysse.

As for the hitchhikers, we sent them on their way with a new hat, a plastic bag for a raincoat and a couple of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I wouldn't be surprised to see their story on the big screen some day.

... s raincoat seems to absorb rain. Last night they could wait no longer for the rain to subside. I leash them up and out we go into the dark, drippy campground. Mav does his business in short order and I take him back to the coach. Jil is waiting for his return and towels him off. Molly has decided that she needs a puddle free area to do her business.
