Just a short note today! Bob and I are celebrating the gratitude that we have for each other, for family (biological and chosen!), for faith, for friends, and for health. We have so very much to be thankful for that our hearts are overflowing!

... from my previous trip to the region, I knew that on the streets and in the open-air markets of many places in Asia you can get basically everything you could ever dream of wanting and more (there are scads of tempting purchases), so there really isn’t a need to bring all that much to begin with. Nearly anything, besides sentimental items or random travel gifts, can easily be purchased, repurchased, or replaced within an instant.

... san road through the rain and into my ****** hotel that i always stay at. i have decided to change ****** hotels because number one....its ****** and number two it is now overpriced for what you get. i have been looking around khao san and have found a few hotels that are about the same price but offer more in the way of amenities. I'll keep you posted.
