... in St. George for fast food. Then it was back on the road to Cedar City, where we would stop for the night. We had chosen the Comfort Inn and Suites for its decent price and included hot breakfast. It was a nice hotel and a very good value. Unfortunately, it was also quite noisy with slamming doors all night long. We also had young children in the room above us running around at midnight. I'd still recommend this hotel. ... again this trip!! Well because of the flat, Grandpa had to head into St George, Utah and get a new spare, leaving the 4 of us to spend the day exploring the rest of the canyon.
Our first stop was Weeping Rock, a short steep walk to a large rock overhang. Inside the rock, water continuously seeps and flows from any crevice it can find. The result is a lush garden of ferns and flowers literally hanging from the rock ...
