... especially to see an old style soda-jerk drug store. What a disappointment.(dis-serpent-ment) It was a typical small pharmacy with a Radio Shack agency inside (that did not make sense) and in the back corner was a high counter where you could buy a soft drink or milk shake and toasted sandwich. There were supposed to be bottles and old wares from years ago on the shelves but I have seen better in chemist shops at home that are not trying to be different. Was not worth the detour.

... to home. We also crossed the Wabash River and the Ohio River. It was so great to see the Cincinnati skyline. We have always loved that sight as we drive down I-75 from Kentucky into Ohio. This last five weeks have been quite a journey! Would do it all again! We got back after about 6 hours in the car. Nice to see home sweet home! And, back to the real world! ... with her. Small batch made ice cream with exotic flavors like Mango and Chocolate Ganache -- how can you go wrong? Between the four of us we had seven flavors (including five premium ice creams, one gelato, and one sorbet), all were excellent.

We ended our day honoring our kids' request for pool time. We jumped and splashed and swam and generally had a soaking good night.
