A jewel on adriatic
The hotel Gusmay is a pleasant surprise. Great architecture by Marcello D'Olivo 1962. We left Positano early this morning and drove down the Amalfi Coast behind many tour buses and scooters. We stopped in Ravello for lunch then continued over the mountain and then across italy to the adriatic. After a long drive we came upon this hotel and decide to stay 2 nights. ...
My own private....beach
... snorkels.
We drove along the coast for a long way, looking down at the water and trying to figure out how to get there. We traveled down one road through one hairpin turn after another only to find that you had to park for a hefty fee, and then take the bus to the bottom. It has a perfect pool, which we never used, but it was very nice to sit by in the morning while we had breakfast and checked email. The morning coffee was great because we could get yogurt, fruit and cornette at ...
It was so horrible
When I saw the village online I thought it was wonderful.
But when I went there it was a nightmare!!!
I hadn't a car so I had to get a taxi, the problem was that the village is far away to get the town.
To get the beach I got the shuttle but it wasn't available all the time, sometimes I had to walk for 3 km.
The satff is so rude, I asked for a van, I never got it! it was so warm inside the room.
Next time city center or next to the beach!!
