Nice Day at Solomon's

A travel blog entry by john.mccalla.33

Matt and Shawna stayed with us on the boat last night. So today, we biked around Solomon's Island, did a little shopping, went to the Calvert Marine Museum, and just lounged around the boat. They left around 3:00.

Then, Sean and Mandy came by around 6:30 pm. This was our first time meeting Mandy.....very nice and very attractive! We went to dinner at The Lighthouse Restaurant, and they headed back around 9:15.

The plan is to started heading back south tomorrow

On further checking we ...

Virtual politics is just that -- virtual. Maybe that's why what impressed me most on my brief college swing was actually a statue -- the life-size statue of James Meredith at the University of Mississippi. Meredith was the first ...
