... and disturbing the other - trying to relax, customers. We headed back home by then, through crazy Bangla road which was a crazy experience! It was absolutely packed with lady-boys and tourists and just people everywhere! There was so much to take in and pretty shocking really. We got back to our hotel by about 9.15 and went straight to bed for another big day tomorrow! Hopefully Maddie will manage to get the time right this ...

... After five nights we headed to Krabi. Again this is a serious tourist town like anywhere in Spain. Nothing special. Again rats everywhere. I even saw one by our swimming pool so that was the end of the lazing by the pool for me. We had planned to go to Bangkok and Chang Mai but given all the trouble up there and then the introduction of the military coup we decided to skip it. Overall I was really disappointed with our experience in Thailand. There are parts if it that ...

I'm currently helping teach English here. It's not quite what I expected as we teach mostly one on one from 6 - 8pm. I helped tutored a girl in high school trying to pass her ...

... white sandy beach overlooking clear blue water while Alan wondered around. We booked a full day of island hoping and snorkelling for the following morning so we had dinner and some cheap drinks, watched a fire show on the beach and retired at a decent hour to avoid a cranky day the following morning. At one point I had an amazing aloe massage perfect after a day of sun! The next day we woke up early ate breakfast and boarded our first long tail boat. After snorkelling at ...

... when I get back to Phuket, but we will see how it goes. I then put on bug spray with no shoes on to make sure I got most everywhere I could. I then had another water and Pad Thai from the hostel which was super good. It was now 8 pm and I quickly realized that I had apparently booked my hostel on the party beach cause there was lots of people drinking and loud music playing next door. This is the moment my heavy sleeper and ability to sleep in any condition has been waiting ...
