... and everything! It was really funny to hear the actors talk in British accents after the show. After the show, we went to a party at a flat that one of Sam's friends was staying at. Their apartments in London were really spacious and modern. They had a washing machine and DRYER! I was pretty jealous - haha.

... 8230;.upon inspection we learnt that 'en suite’ actually meant the room had a shower in the corner. See-through glass. No basin. No mirror. Just a shower. Yeah weird.
(NB the shower still doesn’t work after a week of calls to the real estate. We’ll keep you posted).

Thankfully, our housemates are very affable, and so far, very normal. I’m one of two girls… the other is a Chinese ...

A riveting day!

Most of it was spent in a trip to Bromley and on the Internet shopping for mattresses: we decided that we couldn't have our guests sleeping on a ski slope any longer. So we became instant experts on open springs, pocketed springs, memory and other foams, double vs small double, king vs super king. Absolutely gripping stuff. But a mattress was ultimately ordered, and now our guests will all have rested backs and sweet dreams. ...

... of Big Ben, Clock Tower, London Eye and Tower Bridge en route. We then got off again at the Tower of London, and wandered just past the tower to find some lunch – stumbled upon a great lil’ pub called the "Hung, Drawn and Quartered", quite appropriate for lunch near the Tower we thought! Cam was thrilled to have a proper lamb pie, and of course we sampled a few of the English ales – who would’ve thought Seafarers ...

... br> Salar de Uyuni (Chile and Bolivia) - Cordillera (from San Pedro de Atecama) - grumpy Spanish speaking guides/drivers but at least they know how to control a landcruiser. Pricier than other dodgy operators about but well worth it. Paid approx 160USD for 4 day, 3 night tour from San Pedro to Uyuni.
