      ... sat on. Ever. It is awful. After I've cooled down a bit, I go back out and buy a few postcards, but I think I've exhausted all there is to do in this little town. Eventually I sit at the restaurant downstairs and have a beer and risotto. It's not nearly as good as one I make at home.     ... must have worked loose during the drive and we were sometimes lucky to make 40 mph. Still we are in situ now at Lido di Pomposa about 100km from Venice, and have an English couple, Ian and Liz, opposite us who have a caravan and have just arrived having driven up from Rome. Hot and tired, Ei sorted them out with a drink as they set their van up. This site is large and quite full, but we have been able to get an ice cream and walk down to the sea.
