Passeta's piece of paradise
... Sicily and all I had was flip-flops! Being the brave guy I am, I casually said it wouldn't be a problem, but when we got close to the top I was ankle in snow... an experience to say the least!
It was all worth it because I got the green light from Pansetta to be a real ''mountain man'' because I can climb a mountain in flip-flops, but the real treat was the view from the top. Enjoy the photos

We decided not to plan much in advance because there have been train strikes in Italy. We didn't want to buy our ticket ahead of time and not be able to use it. We ended up leaving around 8am on Friday from Florence by train to go to Rome. Once in Rome, we had to catch a bus to ...
Anthony;s Day
After a wonderful meal last night we woke to a day in the birthplace of Anthony's mother.
First let me tease you with details of last nights dinner. We went for the degustation menu and were not disappointed. We started with bruschetta and bread drizzled with olive oil, both lightly toasted. followed by antipasto, then fettuccine with a butter and porcine mushroom sauce. Gnocchi with truffle sauce followed. Next came lamb on ...
