Well, I'm finally home in Saskatoon. My trip to Edmonton was okay. The Edmonton airport was a gong show. There must have been at least two hundred people waiting to get through security. It was slow going cause there were not many security people working. But after about waiting for a half an hour more workers showed up. Next thing you know they are putting me the xray machine. ... haven't traveled on the Yellowhead Highway. It is possible to see the curvature at times.
The crop fields have certainly changed over the past years as it is rare to see wheat fields anymore. It seems that almost all the fields are the bright yellow of canola. Apparently it is very profitable and easier to grow.
All in all it was a fun day, challenging at times, and in the end completed another 792 ...

... wine consumed, we always arrive tired and jet lagged. But in 22 years of travel, we've always arrived at our destination with our luggage! And with Air Canada taking an extra $100 from my pocket for checking in a second piece of luggage each, our luggage better be flying first class! So, next stop.....TO ! That means Toronto! Our countries biggest city with our worst hockey team!

Ontario and into Manitoba, quick visit to the Information Centre gave us the bad news that Winnipeg had had its worst storm in 75 years and a large portion of the city was declared a disaster area with many of the streets under water, so we heeded the warning, skirted north on the old number one and were somewhat dismayed at the reality of the storm and to cap it off the RV Camp we picked looked a bit worse for wear ...
