    ... my little Honda was still in one piece and not been destroyed or damaged by the drunken fools overnight.

    With both side panniers in hand I entered the rather old style lift in this hotel. This lift was an old design with the swing door at each floor but had no internal door at all and so you certainly did not want to get your fingers caught floors!! It my amazement this lift was only installed in 2006 according to its identity plate.

    Thus far I have been in Amsterdam for a day and a half and it has been an experience. For starters I have hardly met in any guys on my trip.
