... wax around it. It was also a bit crazy to learn that Amsterdam only has 8 windmills left and the only reason they still have them is four tourism! AND it was actually the Chinese that invented them! That afternoon we tried some space cakes, and they were delicious, not so nutritious, and the side effect = very sleepy, wasn't ideal considering we were going to a comedy show, but to be honest it prolly made the ok show somewhat better as it was only ok, ...

... We walked through some of the streets in the famous red light district. It was an interesting experience, and definitely not like anything we have seen before. There were a lot of tourists around the area, but it still felt quite seedy. We were happy to check that one off our list and headed to the Nieuwmarkt, a 17th century marketplace in the old Jewish quarter. We stopped by to see the 13th century Oudekerk on our way to the Bloemenmarkt, a flower, bulb and seed ...

... was very modern and neat, there were lots of of course Van Goghs as well as many other painters. After the museum we went to wok and walk, a Asian stir fry place. It was pretty good. Something other than Italian. We didn't quite make it to Vondel park as planned. We had to turn the bikes in by 6 so we headed back after the museum. ...
