    Spent the morning in town. Started out at the "I Amsterdam" sign. Then we went to the Rijksmuseum across the street. We were able to see famous paintings by Van Gough and Rembrandt such as The Night Watch. Then we took the tram back to town center and walked around.     ... was cool. We got a bit lost walking home through shops and markets but eventually wound up back home and cooked some Vegies for tea. Pretty exciting stuff, I know.

    ... with bikes chained to fences and cyclists/scooters have their own lane between the road and the footpath - making it very difficult to cross the road. I often forgot to look for them and had a couple of close calls but have made it out alive! The Canals were beautiful, often lined with residential terraces, bicycles and houseboats.
