    ... expressed above. Walking to the ship about 3pm we saw Tina and Andrew who happened to be returning from their walk around town and their opinions of Catania were the same. We had lunch on the stern deck and were still there at 5pm as the ship departed, of course with Craig doing the blog and for the first time using the ships slow expensive internet to access emails and upload yesterday's blog - it cost US$22 - given we had no time today to use a cafe with wifi. ...

    ... There were a couple of surprises in store on the way back, however, including some lumpy bumpy turbulence and a couple of lightning storms. The first of which was very dramatic and far away, which made for some interesting viewing, the second was more dramatic and much closer, which made for some terrifying viewing - but the plane survived, as did all of the passengers, and so for that I must be thankful.

    ... Given that I am with the locals, they do know where the affordable restaurants are. During a walk we got to see Dolce and Cabana in the flesh, he seemed to be drawing quite a crowd.

    For dinner we joined my cousin Nello, Paola, and their friends at "Zeppos Restaurant" for dinner. Great Sicilian Cuisine. After dinner another walk, returning to the cars before being driven home to Acireale.
