... was sunny and warm and all the café’s were busy. We stopped by Café Blanc to get another cup of café au’le (sp?) to keep us going. When we first entered one of the massive courtyards, I think we all just stopped in our tracks and were speechless. Now back at the apartment and have tucked into a small platter of meat, cheese and bread. Planning on Spaetzle for dinner again – trying to get the most in we can (though I will definitely be learning how to make it!).

I don't think anyone opened their eyes much before 9am today, it took a further 2-3 hours for us all to get up and dressed, propper Paris living this is, strolling out to breakfast at 12pm :) A beautiful day we headed to the gardens near Roosevelt square with some supplies from Ave Matignon for a shady bite under a tree. A blissful picnic in the shade was only slightly tarnished by the parisian dog poop on my show, Rob told was an essential part of the whole experience.

Yesterday I got up and did laundry in the morning, as well as doing a short workout routine and some planning for the day.

I then went to Sacre Coeur where I got very sidetracked by some super-cheap clothing shops. Bins of clothes for 3 euro! Racks of cast-off designer clothes for 10 euro! I am sort of in need of some more clothes so I spent a while looking through the stuff there. Basically, everything in Europe is either scandalously low cut, ...
