... arches at the Louvre, and there were no people,. no traffic. We drove down the Pont-Neuf - no cars, no people. We followed the Seine for a while, a few cars joined us there. And as we hit the expressway out of Paris, a few cars here and there, but nothing at all like we had come to expect. So it took us 4 hours to drive into Paris and about 30 minutes to drive out. Who would have expected that.

So we arrived at Disneyland Paris much earlier than we ...

... cheese was melted on top was superb and the toasted bread that was floating around was so good with the soup all soaked up. Ughhh I miss it already. On the way back to the apartment we walked over to the not so kosher area of Paris to see the Moulin Rouge. It was a bustling area and all the eateries were open late. There were vendors still selling whatever scraps of food they had left for the day- oysters, cheeses, olives...We looked around for a bit then headed ...

That day was really fun I enjoyed it. The first day in Paris.

The second day in Paris we went back to the Louvre to go inside it. We had to wait ages to just get past security.
And after that we just paid for tickets that didn't take too long.

... dollar face-lift) but it had some nifty critters that you don't see at the Perth Zoo and we all had a nice time. They had a great Madagascar section in a fully enclosed dome set at 30 degrees C and 75% humidity which made a nice change from the outside which was very chilly (although my camera didn’t enjoy the change and it fogged up, including condensation between the lenses – oops!)

... cold, such bad timing, the only time I can smother Sophie with hugs and kisses and I can't touch her except for her toes through her socks. We had a mid morning start to the day, walking from our hotel to Montparnasse to get the Hop on Hop Off bus to Notre Dame then lunch at Cafe Panis, a cafe where we enjoyed lunch 4 years ago. I had their delicious and cheesy French Onion soup, the perfect temporary remedy for a cold and sore throat. Jus had a club sandwich and we shared a creme ...
