... as an 'experience'... learn about life in the Middle Ages. The animated wax work figures were unbelievable life-like, and the presentation was involved and clever, but the amount of actual content was weak and there was not really an awful lot to see.

The views from the roof were wonderful though and the "Duvelorium" was fun. Duvel has won Lisa over and it is certainly our favourite beer.... at least so far...
So we went in search ...

Status report: Up 0645 CET perky: Yet again an LSD dream filled night but this time attributable to the lobster and shrimp in garlic butter/(with frites - ordered to the horror of the chef) washed down with Belgian Beer. The latter explaining the slight dull ache in my left sinus. A low mist hangs over the polders visible outside out bedroom window and in the distance you can just make out a very large container ship ...

... boiled potatoes and applesauce, and another beer. It cost €25 but since I hadn't had to spend any other money today, it was worth it.


Oh, and we found out that the tour member I mentioned yesterday has, indeed, left the tour. Apparently, she checked out of the hotel this morning and never did talk to Rolinka or Heidi.
