Most of the day was spent in the bus today. We spent the morning traveling from Parma to the sea port of Genoa, home port of the famous explorer Christopher Columbus. We reached the city at 13h00 and spent an hour and a half walking around the harbour area.

We moved on from there along the winding highways and through many tunnels into France stopping at Cannes. This city is famous ...

PS Some of you have asked me if I’m ready to come home yet. The answer is NO! As a matter of fact, if I could find a way to stay here, I would :) You’d all come visit us, ...

... but we didn't get there. We walked along the waterfront and after a while realized that the palaces were on top of the big long tunnel we walked through. That was why we couldn't find them! Oh well.

Check out the photo of me pointing to the palaces.

You can see France when you look at Monaco, because Monaco is so small. Halfway up the hill France starts.

Au revoir for now!
