Sunday we were up bright and early. Or at least that was the intention. We were pretty early but not early enough, so when I Googled how long it would take to get to the Anne Frank House using transit, an option came up to use Uber which was much faster of course, so Uber it was and we were there in minutes. The Anne Frank House is famous for having a permanent hours long queue. As it was Sunday morning, we considered ourselves lucky to be at the admission counter after waiting only ...

... and take photos. So, I now have to work to get many photos. But I'll do so.

Well, I've decided to add to this entry the few photos and details surrounding the departure from Amsterdam on June 6 and the day at sea on June 7. We departed Amsterdam at 3 pm June 6, moving along the North Sea Canal from the city docks to the North Sea. I have a few photos of the event of the Canal passage, which ...

... centres that are scattered around. We would stand by the docks and wait for the boat we wanted to show up, then buy a ticket at the boat. The one we were on boasted sun roofs and since it was a nice day they were open. But they are right above your head and only open up about half the boat. Being on it was like being crammed into a plastic bubble and still not being able to see properly because of all the glare off all the plastic roofing at the height of the sights ...
