      Amsterdam is an interesting city full of history, unique gabled houses, canals and cyclists. It seems much busier than its population of 800,000. In the 1600's Amsterdam was the world's richest city, steeped in commerce and an international sea trading port.       ... a large park called Vondelpark where lots of people were taking full advantage of the beautiful weather by lounging and picnicking right on the banks of one of the larger canals.

      ... possibly be all needed..trillions.!The Happy Baccy shops doing a great trade, a bit sad really, some draped in the windows are young.. looking glazed and hopeless...Tall, fine looking people in Holland,a lot..Lovely old buildings and cobbled lanes pedestrian only in lots of parts, and everyone out for their sunny, Sunday walk.
