    ... main square. Then it is all up hill to Il Castello the city's historic quarter inside the old walled citadel. We reached the 13th century cathedral of Santa Maria just before 9 am, so had a chance to wander round inside before the morning mass. Again I had to cover my knees to avoid god's blushes.     ... I would normally say are always fashionably dressed but I have seen some onboard in dodgy shell suits.     Today we went to the beautiful little city called Cagliari in Sardinia. When we wandered the streets mum, dad and I found a little crypt next to a church were they used to do pagan worship. We've seen as much under the cities as we have above. Then it was used in world war two as a bomb shelter.
    As we wandered further, after the city walls gate, we found a neat bits and pieces shop where I found fabulous cat glasses (see picture). Unfortunately ...

    ... as clear as we have had, but very refreshing.
    Then a short walk to see the flamingos on the ancient roman salt pans. (The romans used the salt for preserving their goods-very extensive).
    Back on the bus and home for a siesta.
    Thank god graham'had a calzone.
    Ithought I might get a bite about the tea Mike!
    Off to Spain /Salamanca tomorrow and catching up with Lorraine on Saturday.
