... or 10 hour flight and I was loopy. But we made some good discoveries on Day 2. We toured the University of Bologna a bit, which is Europe's oldest university. Our library tour allowed for no photographs, which is fine. It left more room on my phone for food porn. That's what really matters here.

I also bought toothpaste on this magnificent day, which brings me to my chosen TravelPod title. ...

... on a Monday. Nor did we quite appreciate that the Italians like to siesta in the afternoon so much is closed after lunch. Arrived safely after an uneventful journey. Gatwick as busy as ever. Easy Jet is fine has aeroplane with wings and engines that gets you where you want. What else is needed?? Bologna has a very old centre and a sprawling superb. It is a bit of a centre of travel with a hub railway station and airport. Over the years the old city walls have been knocked down but some remain to define the old city from the newer bits. Sadly raining quite hard which rather limits sightseeing. ...

... from the beginning may remember way back in Turkey, there was a classic car show in the large park at Yenikapi, a chap called Bulent who was the editor of Classic Car Turkey, emailed us this week for further information on our vehicle and trip, he took some video and chatted to us and joked that he would feature us in his magazine, well turns out it wasn't a joke, we will be in next months Classic Car Turkey.
