... year old sister Gabrielle and another person, Lucianna, we learned how to make the dough, roll it out, and shape tortellini, then we cut tagliatelle. Gabriella monitored all of our cutting and as Susan has said, none of us passed muster. We learned that making pasta is a labor of love. We made Bolognese sauce and then got to feast on it all with much wine.

... I had to quickly stuff more things into the check in bag and after several tries, managed to get the carry on to under 8kg. There's not a whole in that case anymore...my makeup, PJs, change of clothes, pashmina, hair straightener, and that's it. I think my backpack weighs more than that right now. ... upon dozens of beautiful sports cars as they were pulling into a secured parking lot for the night after a day on the road at a rally. We found fabulous food at the restaurants and delis.

... we had held onto our third place finish! Our second medal! Giving a little whoop and a punch in the air, I ran down the staircase to deliver the news to my teammates on the boat.
