... mosaic tiles and lots of little bars and restaurants. All old but mostly well maintained. Main piazza and duomo had medieval look and were huge. Church was designed to be biggest in Europe till Papa stepped in. Taxi to Ducati 20€ for museum tour which had to be booked and was a bit disappointing cause factory closed this week. ... through to the remains below. The tour of the ancient remains was closed - didn't open again until 3pm. There is no consistency with when places are open or closed - some closed for a late morning/lunch time siesta and then reopen and stay open until 8ish, while other places close at 4pm for the day. ... Pisa one gets! The smaller of the two towers leans 3.2 metres and the bigger one leans a far more modest 1.3m. We climbed up the taller one, called the Torre degli Asinelli, which is 98 metres high and has 490+ steps.
