... on ferry. Decided to eat out at a wine bar that Stu's colleague Amy had recommended called Cantina Follie. Designed like a wine cellar they serve meats, cheese, bread and wine. Saturday Oct 4 We met our guide at 9-30am and made our way down to the Bellagio lakeside where we boarded a water taxi for our tour. Bit of a squash with 14 people; Rosa's son Nick has joined us for the rest of the trip. We motored around the Bellagio headland to the fishing village of Pescallo, very picturesque. It's also gave us a view of our hotel and the Rockerfella Foundation villa ...

... All along our route their are plastic babies painted pink hanging out windows etc and pink ribbons plus writing on the tar. One of the group explained that the "giro de italia " would have used this route. The road surface is excellent here as it has been all day. BUT That is some serious mountain climbs and passes plus some very fast yet tight twisty down hill sections my respect for these bikers went up tenfold Lunch and a big posse of multistradas stop ...
