Aujourd'hui ce termine mon aventure en Italie! Mais quelle aventure de reve! La quantites de choses que j'ai apprise, les idees que j'ai acquises et surtout les gens que j'ai connu ont fait de ce voyage un moment inoubliable ! I just left Milano where I took my last course of coffee and I loved it ! I'm actually very sad to leave this beautiful country and all my friends here, who knows when I will see them again? but it's now time ...

... had thought we would be touring facilities - but nope, traditional Italian lunch it is. Lukka was very friendly and knowledgeable about both Italy and the AC Milan techniques that interest Conor so much. For lunch we had pumpkin raviolli with hazelnuts and some meat with polenta (I ate as many bites of meat as I felt was necessary to not seem rude...it tasted like I remember meat, but wasn't that exciting). Museum at Academia for a bit of culture- lots of painting of last supper that were rescued(?) from churches in town. Some really old 14c stuff and some more recent restored items. Amazing brushwork and huge alter pieces some with bible stories that were new to me. Spent arvo wandering lanes and canals. Pizza at same restaurant. ...

We receive an SMS from our Emirates Limo driver that he is waiting for us downstairs and we are quickly whisked off to the Airport in style, pity it is only 5 minutes. Rock star treatment at check in and we make our way by train to Terminal 3 for Immigration clearance then a quick look through Duty Free to get rid of the last of my Dirhams, Julie scores a few quirky items.
