Well today was the first actual day of holidaymaking. We had a nice breakfast in the dining room of what has turned out to be quite a quaint little hotel. It was interesting to see what fare was provided and what passes for à n average breakfast in Italy. No eggs and bacon but there was an omelette style dish plus tomatoes and a pastry cut up into chunks. I had a croissant and tea despite a fairly expectant offer of a cuppaccino from the non English speaking gent in charge!
