Hey there, sorry to have a gap in the virtual tourist ride. Yesterday, Sunday, we left Portoscuso and headed North on the Island to a fishing port called Alghero – not a small port by any standards – a mix of traditional fishing boats moared in with pleasure craft and charter boats. We traveled along the coast – steep coast for 46 kms from our lunch stop, Bosa Marina to ...

It is like stepping back in time in the old village. The craft of basket weaving is still done by the old italian women, ...

... long. Packed up late arvo did a reccie of the town and nicked off home for a Piera and a Spritz. A casual feed at a local, pizzeria called Sa Pananda - the lads looked up the form guide and took up the challenge and ordered horse. Ney good, tasted like off meat, hope there is no galloping to the pan tonight. Trotted home to the stables and bedded down on the straw for the ...

... towards the water, it is a bush track with plenty of twists and turns, I came around one of the said turns and here is ma squatting with her shorts and undies at ankle height and in full flow! Not sure who received the greatest shock but she tried to yank the duds up and fell over sideways with one hand on the ground and one around her duds - not pretty. Then for the rest of the afternoon we seemed to run into all over the old town both with a smile in recognition of our new ...
